When you have large quantities of goods, bulk shipping can be an advantageous solution. We transport the goods directly in the ship's hold without containers or pallets, which can result in a lower price per ton. From the ports of Kolding and Vejle, we handle the entire process from unloading to onward transport.

With more than 100 years of experience in the transport industry, we have built a strong foundation for handling even large and complex shipping tasks.

Professional stevedoring in the Triangle area

In both Kolding and Vejle harbors, we offer quay-side facilities with cranes and trucks that can quickly and professionally unload your ship cargo. The harbors are centrally located with direct connections to both the rail and highway networks, providing excellent opportunities for further distribution to the rest of Europe.

All employees are trained and continuously educated in the loading and unloading of ships. We are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SQAS.

What is bulk shipping?

Bulk shipping is the transport of large quantities of unpackaged goods directly in a ship's hold. The goods are loaded without individual packaging, which reduces handling time and simplifies the logistics chain. This makes bulk shipping a solution with lower costs per ton compared to container freight.

We have extensive experience in bulk shipping and handle more than 300 ship calls annually with cargoes ranging from 1,500 to over 8,000 tons.

Combination with other modes of transport

Once the goods are ready for shipment, we arrange onward transport to the final destination. We can combine bulk shipping with road or rail transport, depending on your needs.

In Vamdrup, we have a warehouse hotel covering more than 33,000 m² with direct access to railways for onward transport throughout Europe. This provides you with a comprehensive solution where we handle the entire logistics chain. With offices in both Luxembourg and the Czech Republic, we can offer professional transport across Europe.

Storage after unloading

We have warehouses located close to the ports, so your goods can be stored safely immediately after unloading. Our storage facilities are built to handle goods with high storage requirements – including classified chemicals and other special goods that require special conditions.

If you need storage for hazardous goods, we have one of Denmark's most comprehensive environmental approvals in this area. Our storage facility in Vamdrup is also equipped with collection systems in all halls, so that any spills do not harm the environment.

Types of goods we handle

Steel and metals

We have specially designed terminals with indoor cranes for handling steel products such as coils and other steel elements. In Kolding, we have a direct rail connection to the warehouses, from where we can offer indoor unloading with cranes. Over time, we have built up fundamental expertise in handling this type of goods.

Paper products

We handle large paper rolls for Danish printing companies, among others, and have built up considerable expertise in the correct handling of this type of goods, which has special requirements for storage and transport.

Packaging

We transport and store packaging products, including corrugated cardboard and liquid packaging board. These products require careful handling, and our facilities are designed to ensure that the goods arrive in good condition.

Building materials and industrial goods

We have experience in transporting construction materials and industrial goods as bulk and break-bulk cargo. We have the necessary facilities and equipment to handle heavy loads and ensure proper storage prior to onward transport.

Dangerous goods (ADR)

The transport and storage of dangerous goods poses special challenges. We have specially equipped facilities and are SQAS-certified for handling classified products. Our close cooperation with supervisory and auditing authorities ensures that we always act in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
