Thanks for 2021 - welcome to 2022!
Last year I mentioned that 2021 would be the year of big changes - and it was. 2021 has changed the way we think about logistics.

2022 has kicked off and at the same time we say goodbye to a busy 2021. A year filled with many unknowns that have affected our everyday lives. When I look at what we've been through, I can only be proud of where we are today. We have experienced double-digit growth - we have invested heavily in new technology and real estate - said hello to a new "family member": Grau Shipping, and we have increased the number of employees in all our locations.
2021 was the year of big changes
Last year I mentioned that 2021 would be the year of big changes - and it was. 2021 has changed the way we think about logistics. Today, it's no longer a question of price, but rather a question of security of supply. This is the clear trend we're seeing from our customers - and it's a commitment for both parties. In the future, there will be much more focus on the importance of having good relationships with both customers and our business partners.
In this context, it seems that the old virtues are making a comeback - where decency - respect and an understanding that there must be room for both parties - are once again gaining ground in trade. An exciting and positive development against a backdrop of resource scarcity on virtually all fronts. At the same time, it is also a dangerous development that leads to large cost increases all around - it really calls for orderliness in our working relationship.
When we in the Executive Board try to make a forecast for 2022, we think that it will be a busy, changeable year, where more changes will continue to present themselves. We must therefore be prepared to be ready for change. Fortunately, this is something we have good experience with, and therefore our hope and belief is that 2022 will be a good year for H. Daugaard. In any case, the year starts off busy, and we can only be happy about that.
Sustainability in focus
With the aforementioned busyness in mind - it also calls for one of the big headlines: sustainability. We must invest and translate new technology into sustainable solutions. A focus point that again this year is at the top of our business plan. We look forward to presenting our upcoming initiatives to both customers and partners.
