Organizational changes at H. Daugaard

We are pleased to welcome Jan Nielsen as Warehouse Manager for our warehouse hotel in Vamdrup as of 01.06.2020. Jan has more than 30 years of experience in warehousing and logistics, and we look forward to him contributing to H. Daugaard's logistics.

This organizational change is due to a natural generational shift from former warehouse manager Kim Hansen

Fortunately, this does not mean that we say goodbye to Kim. Instead, he will be able to focus 100% on our HESQ. We say thank you to Kim for many years of good and stable cooperation - and we look forward to even more.

New department: Marketing

Over the past six months, you may have noticed that we have become much more active on social media and you may also have seen our new website. This has been the work of our student assistant Mia, in collaboration with our sales department.

Mia has just completed her Bachelor's degree in International Business Communication with English and Media at the University of Southern Denmark. And in continuation of this, we have hired Mia in the marketing department as of 01.07.2020, where the focus going forward will be on both the external and internal part of the communication at H. Daugaard. We hope you will follow our development.

Digital travel at H. Daugaard

We constantly focus on optimizing all parts of the company for the benefit of both our customers and our employees. This also means that we have made digitalization a high priority. Our IT Manager, Lars Romsøe, in collaboration with the rest of the IT department, has focused on optimizing our work processes.

As part of this, we have implemented a new system, Lobster, which makes it easier for our employees to perform daily tasks, saving time and at the same time reducing the risk of errors.

Finally, we would like to thank all our customers for the adaptability they have shown during the volatile COVID-19 situation, both in terms of virtual meetings and the measures that have been necessary to comply with the authorities' guidelines - something we will probably continue to do for some time to come.

This time of year makes it even more important that we work together to inform each other about the future forecasts that we all face in the coming months. We hope that you will join us in sharing all information about market developments for your particular industry - as this gives us the best opportunity to support the needs that you may have.
