Major organizational changes in H. Daugaard and a nomination
At H. Daugaard , we want to make our mark with innovative, different and value-adding transportation and logistics solutions. This requires us to constantly adapt to the market and ensure that we are always as strong as possible. It is therefore with great pleasure to announce that H. Daugaard has chosen to strengthen the organization with the following initiatives.
Expansion of the Executive Board and new Sales Director
We have employed Carsten Eskildsen in the position as Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development on November 16, 2020. Carsten has more than 40 years of experience in the transportation industry, which will further strengthen H. Daugaard .
We are very much looking forward to working with Carsten - and we are convinced that with Carsten's knowledge and skills we will strengthen H. Daugaard for the future. This also means that the Executive Board will be expanded from two to three, including Carsten. Welcome, Carsten!
Strengthening port and rail activities with Palle Mogensen at the helm
This naturally leads to the next organizational change. Sales Director, Palle Mogensen, will take over as Director of H. Daugaard's port and rail-related activities on 01.02.2020.
Palle will be responsible for sales and business development of the aforementioned, as well as our warehouse hotels. Until 01.12.2020, Palle will put Carsten in the role of new Sales Director.
Strengthening the IT department and newly created position
On December 1, 2020, Michael Dixi Nielsen will take up a newly created position as digital business developer. Michael will leave his current role as department manager for the port and railway activities and will take on the new role in H. Daugaard's IT department going forward.
Due to Michael's extensive knowledge of H. Daugaard , he is the right person to contribute to the optimization opportunities digitally.
The Executive Board Looking forward
Going forward, the Executive Board will consist of Michael Frihagen (CEO), Carsten Eskildsen (Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development) and Palle Mogensen (Director of Port and Rail related activities and sales responsibility for warehouse hotels).
