COVID-19 H. Daugaard

In recent weeks, we have all been affected by COVID-19, which has spread to many countries around the world, with the number of people infected increasing every day.
We follow the Danish authorities' advice and guidance on COVID-19 on a daily basis and take the necessary precautions. We keep ourselves continuously informed about the situation, and our employees will of course immediately inform about any new precautions in connection with the execution of our transports etc.
We would like to emphasize that freight transport is not affected by the closed borders. Our transports will therefore continue as before. However, there may be increased transit time due to border controls - but we keep Denmark and Europe moving.
Organizational changes

Despite COVID-19, we still have some good news to share. We can inform you that on 01.01.2020 we welcomed our new Chief Information Officer (CIO), Lars Romsøe.
Lars is 54 years old and has for many years worked with various management tasks within the IT industry, which is why we are pleased to welcome Lars to H. Daugaard.
Together with our skilled employees in the IT department, Lars looks forward to implementing new, exciting solutions that aim to create added value in our overall logistics solutions for our customers and partners. In addition, Lars will also focus on simplifying and optimizing our business processes by implementing digitalization as a natural part of our daily work. Welcome to Lars.
New website
Our marketing department has been working hard to get our new website ready. On the website, you can directly access our new customer portal, which has been future-proofed and most importantly - it's user-friendly.
On the customer portal you can easily and efficiently book your transports electronically with us, but there are of course also other useful functions. If you are not already a user, you can easily contact your regular contact person and we will help you get started quickly.
Customized logistics has created further growth on our Swedish routes
Among other things, we have entered into a multi-year contract with Goodyear for transportation from Sweden to Denmark. Every day, we pick up tires with our linehaul trucks, which transport the tires to our tire warehouses in Glostrup and Vamdrup. At these terminals, the trucks are emptied and from here all the shipments are distributed in our nationwide tire distribution.
This solution is a good example of how we offer customized logistics to our customers, as Goodyear's requirements included fast and efficient delivery to the Danish customers. Right from the start, we have solved this logistics task with a very high delivery quality, and we are proud that Goodyear has praised the implementation and execution from the very beginning. Welcome to the best tire distribution in the industry - A concept that rolls!
